Saffron (Zafrani) Matka Chai

Ingredients

Water - 1 Cup

Milk - 1 ½ Cup

Loose Tea - 2 Tbsp.

Saffron strands - 12-15 Strands

Cardamom (crushed) - 4 Qty.

Sugar - 2 Tbsp. (Or Per Taste)

A wonderful spiced tea made from saffron, cardamom and whole milk, that helps with fatigue and makes you feel relaxed!

Instructions

1) Pour water into a saucepan.

2) Add saffron strands and crushed cardamom and bring it to a boil.

3) Add the sugar.

4) Add the loose tea and boil for a few minutes over medium heat.

5) Add milk to the saucepan.

6) Stir for a couple of minutes with a ladle.

7) Let it come to a boil.

8) Strain the tea into matkas.

9) Sprinkle a few saffron strands on top before serving.
