Instructions

1) In a microwave-safe ramekin, add 2 tbsp sugar and 2 tsp water.

2) Microwave on regular heat for 3 minutes.

PRO TIP: Make sure to check for color after 2 min. Stop and stir if needed.

3) The sugar should be caramelized and golden brown.

4) In a microwave-safe bowl, add 1¼ cups milk, 2 tbsp sugar, and 2 tbsp custard powder.

5) Whisk until smooth and lump-free.

6) Microwave on regular heat for 4 minutes while stopping to stir every minute to prevent lumps.

7) Pour the custard over the set caramel and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.

8) Carefully demold onto a plate.
